ㅤStructural strengthening works are activities that will help increase the load-bearing capacity and performance characteristics of building elements. To start performing these works, it is necessary to make appropriate calculations and develop a project of structural reinforcements.
The main document that regulates these measures is SP 13-102-2003 "Rules for inspection of load-bearing construction structures of buildings and structures". ㅤDevelopment of the project is required for major repairs, restoration of load-bearing structures in case of loss of strength or damage, large-scale reconstruction, re-equipment, redevelopment, change of operating mode, increase in number of storeys, preparation for sale, the need to eliminate errors made in the production of construction and installation works, as well as to eliminate precipitation and deformation of the structure and the building as a whole.
